Youth Justice Transformation Cohort

Harris County is rich with community based organizations doing incredible work to make measurable improvements to the youth justice space. The community has stood toe-to-toe with systems and demanded more resources, quality programming and better interventions for our youth. We have come so far, and there is still a journey ahead. A pivotal moment to transform the system is here.

Three local organizations, Houston in Action, Urban Community Network, and Collective Action for Youth, are partnering with a national group, Haywood Burns Institute, to create a cohort of like-minded, mission-aligned organizations to bring real transformation to Harris County.
